Bernard Pictet, with Bruno Borrione, produces works in glass for the Prince de Galles hotel in Paris
The Studio and Bruno Borrione have worked together on numerous occasions on projects for restaurants and hotels.
The architect, who is familiar with the many different techniques developed by the Studio, chose a sample of blackened mirror glass incorporating kinetic effects for the bar at the Prince de Galles hotel in Paris.
The Studio proposed a constructivist design that is sympathetic to the period and architecture of the hotel.
The kinetic effect blurs the reflected image to produce a softer impression.
