Unexpected combination of glass and textile
Glass is traditionally associated with wood or metal supports.
Ateliers Bernard Pictet shows how the more unexpected combination of glass and textile can produce works of great beauty and originality.
Three new materials and patterns will be presented. Produced using two exclusive techniques, they are paired with fabrics that have been specially created by the renowned textile designer, Toyine Sellers.
The large glass piece combines a kinetic effect with a sensation of depth and light.
The upholstery work throughout, as well as the Rubelli silk velvet gainage of the frames, is by Ateliers Jouffre.
